The LG LD450EAL Dehumidifier gets rid of up to 45 pints of excess water moisture in a day, leaving behind better air quality in the room. Manufactured by LG, it stands by LG?s commitment to deliver innovative products that make life better and easier. LG has been in the industry since 1958, and remains one of the most recognized brands in electronics and appliances today. They have paved the way to the digital era, and continue to keep the competition interesting by coming up with better ideas with every product they manufacture.
This LG Dehumidifier removes up to 45 pints of excess water moisture in any room during a 24-hour period. It helps make any room gain a healthier air quality, and helps you avoid the build up of molds, mildew, and other irritants that can trigger asthma and allergy attacks, as well as other similar illnesses and diseases. It uses the unique Lo-Decibel Quiet Operation technology, ensuring that the LG LD450EAL Dehumidifier works the quietest way possible. This way, you can use the unit in living areas as well, and not just in basements, storage rooms, laundry areas, and other rooms that are not really visited that often. It also has a bucket-full indicator, lighting up when the bucket is full. It also automatically shuts the unit off, avoiding the bucket from overflowing and excess water from spilling. It works even at low temperature, with the unit having the ability to avoid the coils from freezing up in low temperatures.
The removable bucket can handle up to 21 pints of water, and has a durable handle that makes it easier for you to empty it out. However, if you find having to empty the bucket out too much of a hassle, you also have the option for continuous draining. You can set up a drain line from the LG LD450EAL reservoir tank, using the built-in connector that works with any standard garden hose. It has easy to use electronic controls, with an electronic humidistat that you can use to choose the humidity level that?s perfect for you. It also gives you the option between two fan speeds. It has an auto restart feature that lets the dehumidifier automatically resume operation after a power outage, using the same settings that were set before the outage.

Customer Reviews and Ratings
The LG LD450EAL Dehumidifier works great and takes up as much water moisture as it can in a small amount of time. Users find it very easy to use, with set up being very easy right from the start. The humidistat is very accurate, and the unit is very easy to use.
However, this only lasts for the first year or so. Once it passes the one year mark, most units stop collecting water altogether. Some users also had problems with the coils freezing up, which should not happen in the first place because of the anti-defrost feature.?Click here to read more customer reviews?
All in all, this LG Dehumidifier appears to be very poorly made, and seems to be a disposable product. If you are willing to spend on a dehumidifier, you may want to consider a Frigidaire FAD704TDP Dehumidifier instead. The money you will be saving for an LG product is simply not worth it, considering the inconvenience that you will go through in using it.
